In generale, un sito abbastanza ben fatto ma, come si nota da molti dettagli, evidentemente realizzato internamente e da persone con poca esperienza.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;L'ottimizzazione per i motori di ricerca (SEO) non è stata curata. Mi sono infatti imbattuto nei risultati che trovate nell'immagine allegata, cercando proprio "web sella". I risultati sono ridicoli, visto che il keyword advertising risponde ugualmente presentando l'annuncio, anche su una keyword con concorrenza zero. Dopo mesi di indiscrezioni, in cui si sapeva che Visual Sciences aveva ricevuto diverse offerte di acquisto e aveva dato mandato a un paio di banche d’affari tra cui Credit Suisse First Boston per la valutazione delle proposte, ieri in tarda serata le carte sono state scoperte.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;La transazione, parte in azioni parte cashe, è pari a circa &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;394 milioni USD&lt;/span&gt;. La nuova società, porta in dote oltre 4.000 clienti e un fatturato aggregato di poco superiore ai 220 milioni di dollari.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Jim MacIntyre, fondatore di Visual Sciences, società acquisita da WebSideStory Inc. e poi rinominata Visual Sciences Inc., di cui era diventato CEO poco più di un anno fa, già da due trimestri non era riuscito a rispettare gli obiettivi di crescita comunicati al mercato pur avendo in mano il prodotto più sofisticato del settore.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;L’acquisizione, che sarà conclusa tra l’inizio e metà del 2008, è soggetta alle ordinarie condizioni di chiusura della transazione, tra cui l’approvazione degli azionisti di entrambe le società e l’approvazione delle autorità regolatrici del mercato.&lt;br /&gt;Fino a quando la revisione dell’acquisizione non verrà completata e fino a quando non verrà portata a termine la transazione, le due imprese opereranno ancora in regime di concorrenza sul mercato. L'ho navigato accuratamente per cercare di capire il livello di completezza e usabilità.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Devo dire che il risultato è piacevole, anche se non si tratta di un layout originalissimo. Infatti, ricorda molto quello di &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.abercrombie.com"&gt;Abercrombie &amp; Fitch&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt;, uno dei siti di e-commerce del settore fashion più efficaci. L'impostazione è davvero lineare: basta scegliere il proprio genere e scendre poi in dettaglio per tipologia di prodotto fino alle visualizzazioni dei dettagli di taglia, colore, varianti. Un tocco di web 2.0: con un semplice click è possibile prelevare le immagini dei prodoti per inserirle sul proprio blog o sito.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Idea proposta da tempo ad altri brand del settore, meno coraggiosi (ma forse anche meno reattivi) di &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Diesel&lt;/span&gt;. The community itself will choose the best ones which will be rewarded with real money.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The first promotional contest has already opened, and aims to spread virally within the blogging ad community. I think this concept has potentional, although I'm careful in predicting if it will take off or not.
